Project Manager – North of Tyne Working Homes
Contract Type: Fixed-term initial interim post of three years.
Salary: £31,401 to £35,229
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our partner organisations, Northumberland County Council for a Project Manager – North of Tyne Working Homes.
The project will pilot a cross-sector delivery partnership of housing providers and employment support organisations to support residents across Northumberland, North Tyneside and Newcastle to move into work through an integrated service approach. This will be a high profile flagship project for the newly formed North of Tyne Combined Authority to deliver its vision of an Inclusive Economy
The successful candidate will lead development, implementation, delivery and programme management, delivering effective performance to meet challenging output and results targets and ensuring compliance with funder requirements. Proven partnership management skills are therefore essential.
The successful candidate will have proven project and people management skills, with a performance driven approach to meeting targets. There will be an excellent understanding of labour markets and matching jobseekers with employer needs. Ability to work effectively in partnership with a range of housing and employment services is essential.
